CAUTION: The registration e-mail address is used to communicate with you during the pendency of your application and for matters concerning the bar examination, by both the State Bar of Michigan and the Board of Law Examiners.

LEGAL NAME

Your legal first and last name are required for this application. Provide your name as written on your birth certificate or as legally changed by marriage or court order.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF BAR EXAMINERS (NCBE) NUMBER

If you do not already have an NCBE number, please go to the National Conference of Bar Examiners website (links to new window). Follow the instructions to create an NCBE account. You will be assigned an NCBE Number (N########). Record this number and return to this page to complete the registration process and to begin your Michigan Bar Application.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The Michigan bar application portal will be in a maintenance period for system updates beginning December 16, 2019 at 11:59 pm. During the maintenance period you will NOT be able to log into your application. You will NOT be able to register and create a new account during the maintenance period, either. The maintenance period is scheduled to end no later than January 15, 2020.
